What is Magnetic Water (Part 1)

By Debbie Shimadry All water coming out of our taps has a source from a river or a reservoir, whether man made or natural. All water that comes from a natural source has at some point in the river, stream or spring, if you are using spring water, actually come into contact with the earth and the earths core. It is important to know that the earth is actually a large magnet. Gravity is magnetism. We are standing here or sitting here and not flying about in the air because of gravity and the magnetic field that is surrounding the earth. The earths core is magnetic and holds a magnetic charge. When water is underground in the earth, in natural wells for example, it actually absorbs magnetic charge from the earths core. Similarly in reservoirs and dams, the same process takes place. Hence in its natural state water is magnetic. So if you drink water straight from a river, it might be very dirty and it might be full of pollutants but it would actually be magnetised. If you were to drink water straight from Buxton spring or Malvern spring (in the U.K), that water would be magnetised too. When you buy bottled water off the shelves, it is no longer magnetised. When the water is taken away from the natural source for a few days it loses its magnetic charge. Similarly, when water goes through to the water treatment plants for processing, it passes through heavy duty metal pipes which de-magnetise the water. So when the water comes out of your tap it is no longer magnetised. Obviously Mother Nature intended for us to drink magnetised water because there is a wealth of benefits from drinking magnetised water. Read part 2 for detailed instructions on how to magnetise water. Debbie Shimadry is qualified magnetic therapist and pain nurse specialist. She appears on several BBC radio stations as an expert guest on magnetic therapy and is also the managing director of leading magnetic therapy company worldofmagnets.co.uk. Buy Discount Flowers Online

By Josh Riverside Flower businesses are a profitable venture and many companies offer regular discounts to attract customers. Buying discount flowers online should not be a hasty action. It is important for customers to make necessary enquiries in order to find an affordable and feasible deal. Online discount flower deals are available to larger group of people as compared to local store discounts. Such international trade depends upon state laws as well as a company’s operational area. When buying discount flowers online, potential customers may select from a wide range. This includes roses, gladioli, tulips, and orchids. It is possible to make email enquiries regarding discount flowers, because a number of companies may not advertise such offers. An effective method of buying discount flowers online is to use flower codes, coupons and deals. These discount flower codes are random redeemable vouchers, and have certain numbers attached to them. When making an online purchase, buyers need to provide these codes as they reduce purchase costs instantly. A number of user friendly online sites conduct searches, and deliver online coupons, coupon codes, and deals directly to listed customers, or they can be found through individual searches. Online discount rates are also available in case of wholesale or minimum order flower purchases. Bulk purchases reduce transportation and packaging expenses, and this reduces purchase costs considerably. When buying discount flowers online, customers need to compare various sources. This helps analyze purchase costs, terms and conditions and refunds. When considering discount flower purchase online, customers may need to pay less, as compared to discount flower purchases from local stores. This is because online stores incur minimum overhead expenses, as they are not required to pay store rentals deposits and employee salaries. For this reason, online businesses are able to offer reduced rates. When buying discount flowers online, it is important to be attentive to a company’s reputation, delivery history and replacement policies in case of damaged delivery. Buy Flowers Online provides detailed information on Buy Flowers Online, Send Flowers Online, Buy Cheap Flowers Online, Buy Fresh Flowers Online and more. Guide to a Growing Trend: The “Green” or Ecological Wedding

By Blake Kritzberg Does it seem like the phrases “ecology” and “wedding” could hardly have less in common? With the average wedding costing well over 15 thousand today, one would think so. And yet, the “green” or ecologically-friendly wedding is gaining momentum across the nation. Lower impact and a smaller environmental footprint doesn’t mean austere. The green wedding can be hauntingly romantic, with its outdoor setting, its focus on living plants, and its more casual gown (often made of hemp) that brings to mind fairies from ages past. Even the ecology bride herself forms a contrast with more conventional weddings. Even on her big day, her fresh face couldn’t be farther from the heavily made-up cover girls of bridal magazines. When it comes to more functional aspects, the green wedding has three main goals: Do no harm, Patronize earth-friendly vendors, and Reuse/recycle. 1) Do No Harm The green bride tries to avoid products or activities that could compromise the environment. For this reason, butterfly releases are rare (vendors aren’t always careful to ship butterflies only to appropriate, native environments). Similarly, she steers clear of beeswax candles, styrofoam or soft plastics at the reception, and subtitutes reuseable glass and porcelain. (Brides are often surprised to discover the caterer may not charge much more for this service.) Many green bridal couples are vegetarian or vegan. In metropolitan or college-town communities, this provides a great excuse to serve dazzling ethnic foods at a reasonable cost. Many environmentalists respect hemp because unlike cotton, it can be grown without pesticides and returns most of its nutrients to the soil. When the green bride buys a new gown for her ceremony, she often looks to fabrics made of hemp. Surprisingly flexible, hemp can go upmarket (“hemp satin”) or relaxed (cottony separates that can be worn after the wedding). 2) Patronize Earth-Friendly Vendors Flower petals in paper cones are environmentally friendlier than bubble solution in plastic containers, and require minimal clean-up. The trick is finding petal suppliers that don’t use pesticides. These growers are more popular in the U.K. than the U.S. Green brides might also distribute harm-free favors, such as sachets made of pesticide-free herbs, live flowers, tree seedlings, or small packets of organic tea. In fact, some brides register at charitable organizations instead of department stores, and contribute to environmentally-active organizations instead of handing out favors. 3) Reuse, Recycle Even the most traditional wedding brings opportunities for reuse/recycling. For example, leftovers from the reception can be delivered to food banks, and flowers dropped off at hospitals or rest homes. The green bride often takes this a step further and chooses recycled paper for invitations and Save-the-Date cards, for example. She might also re-use a wedding gown (her mother’s ideally, or failing that, one from a thrift or vintage store). Otherwise, she might opt for a new gown that isn’t too formal so she can wear it after the ceremony. Separates are perfect — a lovely lace top goes great with her favorite pair of jeans! Just as at the grocery store, eco-friendly doesn’t necessarily mean cheaper. Ecology brides are sometimes surprised to discover their weddings cost 10K, 20K and up, just like those of their more traditional sisters. Still, when she looks back on a wedding that opted for more “nature,” less formality, and less conspicuous consumption, the green bride might find it was time well spent and maybe even hope that a guest or two was inspired to follow in her footsteps. Best Car Finance Deal

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Imran_K_Khan]Imran K Khan Cars are not simply a luxury but today have become a necessity in everyday life. Not merely a means of transportation, a good car is a good investment both for you and your family. Do you buy a new car or go for a secondhand one? Where do you buy? How much are you willing to fork over for that car that will fulfill your dreams? Sometimes you spend an unaccountably long time just looking for the car you want and neglect to take into consideration the actual effect it will have on your finances. Hunting for a car is not enough it is when you have found the best car finance deal that the search is effectively over. Now anything remotely financial is not an endearing subject, but it is a must when purchasing a car. Buying a car is the second largest single purchase a person makes. Most buyers end up borrowing money and some end up in staggering debt because of this. Lack of awareness of financial options is literally throwing money down the drain. So unless you would not get more for your money, the best advice is to move on to other deals. Car financial deals are classified into three categories: Car Finance by Make, Car Finance by Body Style and Car Finance by Class. Car finance by Make is the brand of the car. Are you sure you want this Volvo, or maybe the Porsche? Convertibles, sedans and the like fall under Body Style and car finance by Class has the likes of luxury cars, sports cars and so on. Unless you are planning to pay in cash, you will have to apply for a car loan. Negotiations with the dealership will be long and tiring because you need to acquire the lowest possible price, but it is also important to pay attention to the interest rates. Research the latest about auto finance incentives and deals this could cause a sizable saving in your new car purchase. Car buyers have several options when it comes to loans and this could spell the difference between the best deals and the worst. Personal loans from an independent lender are generally a much cheaper way to borrow the money to buy a car. Shop around for car deals. Those who rely on the first deal proposed to them by their car salesman; end up paying soaring interest rates. Car finance offered in dealerships generally has higher interest rates. Car dealerships consistently mark up the loan cost without informing the customer. It would have been illegal had you been financing a home, but not so when its a car. Ignorance may be bliss, but this time it could burn you. If you have no idea about it or do not inquire into it, the dealerships salesmen and the finance executives would not be the ones to tell you. The buyer of the car doesn’t have to finance the deal through the dealerships alone. He can head to a credit union or to a bank and shop around. The First Holy Communion Party – Planning a Celebration that is Personal and Meaningful

By Cheryl Salto A childs First Holy Communion celebration can be anything from a simple backyard gathering to a posh hotel or restaurant reception these days. Every family will have its own traditions and expectations of events such as these, but with some basic thoughts in mind, and a little attention to details, such as theme, dcor, and event favors, whether large or small, simple or elaborate, it can be a personal and meaningful occasion for all that attend. The most important part of planning any event is to have a clear idea going in of your focus and desired result and to realize that there could actually be more than one. As in the case of a Holy Communion celebration, there will be guests of all ages attending and the desired result youd like to create for the young ones may be different than that for the adults. Again, every family is different how they celebrate such occasions. Some will have a more structured event with time for toasts and speeches to tribute the guest of honor and family members, similar to a wedding reception, and others will leave the more formal part of the day to the church ceremonies and keep the party time more open or relaxed. It truly is up to you. Although of course a religious rite of passage, the theme of such a celebration can either focus on that aspect by emphasizing it with dcor and Communion favors with the Cross, chalice and wafer symbols or you can choose to highlight the childs interests and personality more prominently with a theme that recognizes him/her as the guest of honor and his/her accomplishing this important step in life. An example of this would be to feature the childs love of horseback riding, or swimming by including it, or even making it, the theme of the party with decorations, the cake, event favors, even entertainment and allowing the actual rite of passage, in this case the First Holy communion, that has brought everyone together and the ceremony preceding the party, to be the overall theme of the day. You often see this kind of personalization with weddings as the couple chooses a theme for their reception based on one of their interests such as using a location by the beach with tropical fish dcor to share their passion for scuba diving with all in attendance. It is unlikely that anyone will forget that theyve gathered for an important ritual (the couples marriage vows!) but they will also not likely forget that they enjoy scuba diving and that this was a unique and personal gathering. Sending guests home with a Communion favor that tributes the guest of honor and also commemorates this celebratory day is an opportunity to convey many things as well. It can be a simple reminder that they attended the special event and therefore are an important participant in your familys life, or in the case of a Communion favor it can also serve as a symbol of their own beliefs and rituals that are significant in their life. These days, the possibilities are truly endless in what you can create for an event. By defining your desired result right from the start and taking factors such as budget, the number of guests, location and time of day into consideration you are on track for a successful party. Although there are many details to be thought through, keeping the reason for the party in the first place, your childs rite of passage — his/her First Holy Communion, as the focus will help guide your thoughts and decisions.. Only you will know what is most appropriate for your family and this special time, and that in itself, will help you to plan a celebration that is personal and meaningful for your child and your guests. How Should I Store My Coins?

By Robert L Taylor There are two concerns when discussing the storage of coins. First, the storage of the individual coin, and Second, the storage of a group of coins, or an entire collection. Storage of a Coin Collection The Environment of the entire Collection, or Group of Coins is the focus, taking into consideration Temperature, Humidity and Light. A relatively constant, moderate to low temperature and low humidity are preferable for long term storage of numismatic collectibles. Placing packets of silica gel, which absorbs moisture, in the coin storage areas helps control atmospheric humidity. The less light, the better; and absolutely no sunlight. This is why a safe or vault is ultimate storage container; because it controls Temperature, Light and Humidity, and provides Superior Safety. Groups of Coins, or Collections are best stored in plastic coin boxes, such as sold by PCGS, NGC and Whitman, and which will hold 20, separated, slabbed coins. Another alternative is a cardboard coin storage box (single and double; red, blue or black), which stack easily on each other. Different sizes are available for slabs, as well as Vinyl and Cardboard Flips. Storage of Individual Coins Putting Individual coins into Holders is Imperative for all coins whose condition is BU and above, or MS60 and higher. Coins below these designations are considered circulated because they are found in the general circulation of money. Typically this will mean they are found in pocket change, or in rolls of coins purchased at a local bank. Although collecting Circulated coins is a great personal challenge for many collectors, the more serious Coin Collectors will concentrate on Uncirculated coins (BU+ and MS60+ ) because of their better condition (grade), value, and appearance. Types of Containers or Holders. Almost anything will do for coins with small or no numismatic value. A coin that is worth only face value, is not likely to have much numismatic value. while nearly airtight holders made of inert materials are a better idea for valuable coins. Bags, jars and boxes are adequate for raw pocket change and circulated coins. Paper Envelopes or Paper Flips of various sizes (usually 2 x 2) are still used for single coins. Be sure to use envelopes made explicitly for holding coins, otherwise your coins may change color (tone) over time due to reaction with sulfur or other chemicals present in the paper. Since the coin can not be seen, it is now out of favor with collectors. Folders and Albums are sold primarily for series and type sets. Properly used, they offer moderate protection from wear and handling. Over the years coins may tone due to reaction with sulfur or other chemicals present in the folders and albums, and are therefore not a good choice for long term storage of higher grade coins. The coins are still exposed to light, air, chemicals and human touching. Albums have clear plastic covers over the coins, which slide in and out. This sliding action can leave unwanted and unattractive marks on the coin. Plastic Flips are available in various materials. “Soft” flips were once made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) which decomposed over time with disastrous results for coins; leaving a green appearance and substance. PVC flips are no longer made and sold. Mylar, vinyl and acetate flips do not contain PVC. While not airtight, they are reasonable choices for moderate value coins that will be “left alone” for multiple years. Vinyl Pages (8 x 11) which fit into a 3 ring binder. Well suited for Cardboard and Vinyl Flips, with great visability of coin obverse and reverse. This is a Great Favorite. Mylar-lined Cardboard Flips, often called “2x2s” or cardboard flips. At one time, the most preferred and commonly used. but also available in other sizes, are similar to plastic flips. A coin is placed between the two halves, which are then folded over and stapled together (some brands contain an adhesive). The boxes that they come in are ideal for multiple coin storage. Tubes are plastic containers designed to hold a number of the same size coins. They come in different sizes for different coins. They are fine for bulk storage of circulated coins and are appropriate for higher grade Uncirculated, BU+ and MS60+ coins. A disadvantage is that the coins cannot be viewed without being removed from the tube. Hard Plastic Holders are preferable for more valuable coins. They are self sealing, and not known to contain any materials that harm coins and offer good protection against scratches, touching and handling, air and chemicals, and other physical damage. They are available for individual and small sets of coins, and come in all sizes. Slabs are Sonically Sealed hard plastic holders for individual coins. They offer Excellent protection. Because of the expense of having a coin slabbed, they are generally suitable only for more valuable coins i.e.: BU+ and MS60+ Coins. Although generic slabs are available, most often, a slab will be seen holding a coin that has been Professionally Certified and Graded – which has tremendous advantages. The biggest advantage is when buying a coin on the Internet or by phone. You know what youre getting. A coin Certified and Graded by one of the Top Four gives reliability, assurance and security. A big advantage over the scam sellers of raw coins, and non-conforming grading companies. Have fun collecting your Perfect Coins! Chinquapin History

By Patrick Malcolm There are two types of chinquapin trees, also called chikapin trees,’ that are available commercially in the United States, the Allegheny chinquapin and the Georgiana chinquapin. The Allegheny chinquapin, Castanea pumila’, is considered a shrub by some; however, some researchers claim that its dwarf size does not justify its reclassification. Many old-timers remember sweet memories from their youth when baskets were filled with the spicy, sweet, nutty flavored chinquapins. These nuts were eaten fresh, roasted or baked into snack confections for any occasion. The nuts from chinquapin trees grow with only one nut to a burr, whereas chestnuts, a close botanical relative, produce two or more nuts per burr. The Allegheny chinquapin, Castanea pumila,’ is widely distributed throughout the Southeastern U.S. and is cold hardy up to Zone 6 and all the way down to Zone 9. The Allegheny chinquapin prefers to grow on a neutral, uphill soil, especially at higher elevations. These nuts are often gathered by local inhabitants and are available at many locations at nearby markets and roadside stands. The Georgiana chinquapin, Castanea alnifolia,’ is best described as the creeping chinquapin and it readily spreads in shady thickets by means of giant underground stems that produce many shallow roots. These plants are found in huge colonies throughout South Georgia and produce numerous nuts in late summer and early fall with a distinct sweetness and characteristic spicy flavor that remains indelibly bonded within the memory. The plant is easily grown and transplanted, but is more vigorous in a shady location. The burr is about one inch in diameter, producing a brown waxy nut in the center. The Georgian chinquapin Castanea alnifolia’ is cold hardy in zones 8-10, growing about 4 feet in height, slow growing but excelling in poor sandy soils that are well drained. Luther Burbank reported in his book Trees, Volume 8, that chinquapin trees appeared to be almost immune to the chestnut tree blight of the American chestnut trees that, within a 50 year period of history-beginning in 1912, practically had eliminated the American native chestnut tree. Burbank hybridized thousands of chestnut trees in an effort to renew the American chestnut forests to their former splendor. He noted that any hybrid that had successfully survived the chestnut tree blight to become a viable commercial orchard selection would undoubtedly contain the immune qualities within the chinquapin that had been implanted into the American chinquapin tree genetic makeup. How To Maintain Your Weight Loss Motivation

By Jason Barger One of the hardest aspects of getting yourself into shape, is maintaining the motivation you need to achieve your weight loss goals. Just about anyone will lose some of their enthusiasm, a month or so into a weight loss program. I have learned a few things that keep me motivated and dedicated to achieving my goals. They have helped me tremendously and I think they will help you as well. Here a just a few of the many things I do to motivate myself. Weigh yourself once a week: I weigh myself at least a few times a week. In the beginning of your program once is plenty because you dont want to discourage yourself. The reason I weigh myself once a week is because it can be easy to look in the mirror and justify, in your head, that you arent gaining any weight. If you look at a scale every week, you know for sure whether you need to make changes or not. Keep a picture of the heavier version of yourself in plain sight: I have a picture of me at my sons baptism next to my bed. I was 20-25 pounds heavier in that picture than I currently am. This gives me a chance everyday to see what I dont want to slip back into. It reminds me why I lost weight and keeps me from sliding back into old habits. Also, it will just remind you of how far you have come and how much better you look now. Visualize everyday: You should visualize everyday, how you want yourself to look. If you have achieved your goals then just imagine yourself doing some new things, in your new body. This really does help. I try to visualize myself everyday doing something that I plan on doing in the future. This can help with goals in any aspect of your life. I used to do this while running, when I first started my program. I would picture myself mentally, running and looking the way I wanted to look. Set your sights farther and higher: If you have already reached your ideal weight, then you should set some new goals or standards. If you dont, you will probably fall back into old habits. It is harder to maintain something, then to achieve something new. So if you have reached your ideal weight, then why not set a goal to add some muscle. Or maybe, set a goal to get absolutely ripped. In perfect shape, like you never imagined you could. Look high and far, set your goal and then reach it. Nothing will keep you more motivated then setting and achieving new goals. Those are just a few of the ways that I use to keep myself motivated. There are thousands more. To find other motivating ideas just do some searching on the internet. You can find thousands of articles and websites dedicated to weight loss and health. Being healthy and losing weight can change every area of your life. It is amazing, the possibilities we begin to see, after reaching an achievement such as weight loss. Dont lose the momentum. Keep it turned up and start using it to help you with other areas of your life. But most of all, never give up. There will always be obstacles in any thing you do in life. Just dont use them as excuses to hold you back from achieving the ultimate freedom you deserve. About The Author This article was written by Jason Barger. Harmful Effects of Tanning Booths

By Tim Gorman If you tan, someone has probably told you the story by now you know, the one about the girl who tanned so much she cooked her internal organs? Well, that one is an urban legend. Tanning beds will not cook your insides, but there ARE some harmful effects associated with tanning booths. Ultraviolet (UV) rays are always somewhat dangerous. There are two types of UV rays, UVA and UVB. The sun emits mainly UVB rays, and they are associated with sunburn. Tanning booths emit mainly UVA rays, which are linked to deeper, more penetrating radiation and long-term skin damage. It is true that because tanning booths emit UVA rays there is less danger of getting sunburned. But more recent evidence links UVA exposure to malignant melanoma, the most deadly form of skin cancer. Cases of malignant melanoma are becoming more common, possibly due to the increase in popularity of sun tanning booths. Overexposure to any UV rays can cause premature aging and loss of skin elasticity. But premature aging and cancer are harmful effects of tanning booths that do not show up for many, many years, after damage to the skin is already irreversible. There is no completely safe UV ray exposure. It is true that exposure to some sunlight is healthy, because it prompts the body to produce vitamin D, but the amount of sunlight needed for this health benefit is MINIMAL. UV rays are radiation, and over-exposure always causes damage of some kind. Both types of UV rays have been linked to immune system damage. It is true that sun tanning booths are prescribed as therapy to treat certain types of skin diseases, but as with any medication, there are risks if not used as directed. Timothy Gorman is a successful Webmaster and publisher of Tanning-Bed-Solutions.com. He provides more tanning bed information on tanning bed bulbs, tanning bed lotions and home tanning bed information that you can research in your pajamas on his website. Maternity Wedding Gowns

By Gregg Makarowski When you are planning the perfect day and you have wedding dresses in mind you will need to consider a few options. Not only are there many styles and patterns to choose from but also dresses to accommodate unplanned situations. Sometimes, life cannot be planned, and wedding dates may coincide with a pregnant bride. Finding the perfect maternity bridal gowns can be a challenge, especially since you may be a different size in several months as your wedding approaches. Maternity bridal gowns should be shopped for ahead of time, but make sure to get alterations shortly before your wedding date. When sizing maternity bridal gowns, make your sizing selection based on your Pre-Pregnancy Size. Dresses and gowns are cut to flatter your pregnancy shape but your “size” remains the same. We also recommmend that you “size up” if you are between sizes. Your wedding may also include children (yours or your fiances), and you may want to select a color theme that will correspond to your childrens attire. White stretch lace maternity bridal gowns with a silky white liner are a perfect fit for your growing body. Fully lined dresses with support under the bust accentuate your shape. You may want to choose from designer styles like Italian, Empire, Renaissance, or Titanic gowns, which are absolutly perfect for moms-to-be! Most pregnancy bodices and gowns are designed to be durable, breathable and most importantly, comfortable.
